AkzoNobel Achieves 3rd Navistar Diamond Status

AkzoNobel Automotive & Aerospace Coatings Americas announced today that Navistar International Corporation has, for the third consecutive year, selected them to receive the coveted Diamond Supplier Award.

This prestigious acknowledgement is earned by a select number of
suppliers who exceed performance expectations for quality, delivery, and responsiveness; demonstrating commitment to continuous improvement; and meet warranty, pricing, and strategic guidelines.

AkzoNobel provides automotive coatings and related products for commercial vehicles produced by Navistar, including buses and trucks.

Persio Lisboa, Chief Procurement Officer with Navistar Inc. in the notification letter said, "Diamond Suppliers earn this distinction by their ability to meet and exceed our performance expectations for quality, delivery and cost.” Lisboa continues, “In addition, Diamond Suppliers are strategically aligned with International’s business goals and demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement.”
